Surface functionalization of nano graphene oxide by amino acid

In this study, nano graphene oxide (NGO) was synthesized by modified Hummer's method, the functionalization surface of amino acid (methionine, cysteine) covalent NGO with group using microwave 20% power (140 W) and characterization Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD), field emission scanning electronic microscopy (FESEM). The calculated particle size prepared compounds GO, GOM, GOC is dependent on pattern XRD (Debye – Scherer) (Williamson Hall) equation GO (16 nm), GOM (16.83nm), (19.nm). FESEM exhibited for has many layers light grey kinked regions wrinkled edges, while re-stacked are colored. surfaces have sharp crumpled rippled.

We show that individual, isolated graphene nanoribbons, created with a molecular synthetic approach, can be assembled on functionalised wafer surfaces treated with silanes.
